Dragging pulks back over the sea ice to Kulusuk at sunset, East Greenland
Having left Kulusuk by boat we spent two weeks ski touring and climbing summits in the Schweizerland Alps of East Greenland. We carried all our food, tents and gear in pulks when we moved between different base camps. These started out about 40kg each and diminished to about 20kg by the end of the trip. Here at sunset we are on the last stretch of sea ice on our return back to the village.
